Wide Open... It’s a term that describes both the room in and opportunity with the AVX1880c. Engineered from more than a half century of research, this slab-minded machine is built to home in and lock onto your favorite crappie spot. Designed in collaboration with “Mr. Crappie,” Wally Marshall, this 18’ 10” rig literally dwarfs other designs in its class. How’d we do this? We re-engineered the entire platform from the ground up, not only creating a new generation of product but a whole new fabrication process. It’s a level of excitement and inspiration that continually drives our team to raise the bar of expectations.

Built from extensive computer modeling and real world performance tests, our groundbreaking V2 technology delivers a pad hull that’s light on its feet and incredibly smooth, strong, quick, and dry. Combined with our stretch-formed gunnels, we brought the beam farther forward, making the front deck even larger. So, not only is there a world of room for three-across seating up front, but gear storage dominates, and rod space is equally impressive. Up front, the port box holds sticks up to 8’ in length and there’s room for rods in the double-digit range along the port and starboard sides.

Elsewhere, the tournament-proven rear livewell and reverse-hinged forward well reinforce the all-out focus on fishing. Quick out of the hole, the 1880c runs with a smooth, solid ride that’s often compared to glass. With the Victor Package we even provide an adjustable driver's seat. Why shouldn't the boat be built to fit you, not the other way around? Coupled with matching fold down fishing seats our rigs are ready for those long days on the water.

You won't see us offering base-level equipment that keeps the starting price artificially low. As avid anglers ourselves, we package the boats like we would want them. You'll find our entire lineup has a stainless-steel propeller, stainless boarding ladder, smooth hydraulic steering, an onboard charger, retractable rod buckles, and a proven Minn Kota trolling motor built into the price.

Custom Built Vexus® Trailer

Don't settle for a trailer built by the lowest bidder. Ours are built in-house, alongside the boat. But we don't stop there. We put four trailer bunks under the boat. Not only does this help cradle your investment when towing, it makes loading at the ramp a breeze. A 4” Channel frame, UV-protected polyurea coating, LED lights, aluminum wheels, surge disc brakes, and matching painted accents complete the overall package.

Stainless Pull-Up Tie Cleats

Stop breaking rods and tearing clothing. Our stainless-steel pull-up cleats stay out of the way until they're needed.

Oversized Pedestal Bases

Others use a ¾” diameter base to hold the fishing seats in place. We believe in going a step farther. Our 1.77” diameter base is stronger and will last longer.

Compression Lid Locks

One key to providing drier storage is to help ensure the lid completely seals. We accomplish this by using compression locks that pull the lid tight against the rubber seal.

Raised Lip and Oversized Seal for Lid Openings

Our raised lips and oversized seals force water away from the lid openings. Evacuating the water is critical to keeping your gear dry.

Vector Force™ Transom

Our Vector Force Transom is constructed of .125” aluminum and reinforced with 60% more material than the industry standard. The transom is the very foundation of the boat structure and at Vexus we're focused on ensuring anglers can outfit their rig with today's setback plates and shallow water anchors. Many others not only don't offer these options, but installing them actually voids the warranty.

Hard Case™ Paint

Many aluminum boats receive the same paint that's applied to a cheap utility trailer. Instead, we paint the entire hull showing no raw aluminum and the matching color is protected by a Hard Case™ clear coat. This provides a lasting finish that ensures a great look for years to come and ultimately increases resale value.

Wood-Free Design

Solid State Wiring and Lit Tip Switches

There's no room for cheap, snap locks and failure-prone fuses in our wiring harnesses. Instead, waterproof connectors and resettable breakers are coupled with our heavy gauge wiring for the ultimate in confidence and reliability.

We don't stop at simply putting a fiberglass console in our boat. These Glass-Infused Aluminum Hybrid™ designs benefit from the looks, strength, and quality of fiberglass throughout the rig. Oversized Gelcoat/Fiberglass Rear Storage

No more flimsy, plastic drop-in boxes held down with wood screws. Our fiberglass boxes are generously oversized while being sealed and foamed into each AVX. It's a solid combination that reinforces our notably quiet, solid, and responsive feel. Additionally, the raised lid openings provide an even drier seal, delivering added protection from water and weather.

Insulated Fiberglass Cooler with Seal and Drain

In a world full of coolers that cost hundreds of dollars, we provide one built into the boat itself. It's over insulated with foam, has a built-in drain, and the smooth, durable gel-coated interior is made to take the demands an avid angler will throw at it. Not to mention it's easy to access from outside the boat and is tucked away under deck so space isn't hindered for your hydration.

Tournament Grade Fiberglass Livewell

When money's on the line it's comforting to know that our livewell system is designed to keep the day's catch healthy and safe. We incorporate a valve system that makes changes easy, no more sticking your hand in cold water to drain the livewell. Additionally, the well is equipped with recirculating aeration, a pump-out system, and Splash Guard technology.
